QotD: First Celebrity Crush

Who was your first celebrity crush?

I have never had a celebrity crush.  When I was about ten,  I was in the hotel lobby of the Banff Hotel and Dale Evans with an entourage (small one) walked through.  This was the Dale Evans of Roy Rogers, Trigger and Buttermilk fame. I was never so disappointed in my life. Now if she had had the horse with her, it might have been a different story, but she was just a lady.  I had only seen her in black white tv and there was nothing wrong with her, but she was just an ordinary person.  Life lesson learned early.  I didn't even like her that much on tv.  Celebrities are just people with a talent.  I know lots of people with really great talents that impress the hell out of me.  The few celebrities I have met were extremely self-conscious, defensive and condescending.  They have a rough life so I don't blame them for being that way.  I sure wouldn't want it.
