Show us an unforgettable memory from 2006. I had not been in the show ring for at least 20 years. This was a "fun" show, and this class was called Bad Showmanship where you do everything wrong!:) No show halter, no show clothes, boyfriend to hang on, water bottle and horse still in his jammies! This was Riley's first ever time in the ring. At four years old, it was a great experience for him and he behaved like a champ. We came in 4th! EEEEEEEE, you should have seen the winner! FYI Riley is 17 hands at the whither. I'm 5'9" in my bare feet. My guys are pretty tall! The winner had NO HALTER and came in full ladies' makeup, including lipstick!
Show us your pride and joy.
I was trying to upload two pictures of my sons and husband, but it didn't happen. They are still my pride and joy. Although, at various and different times I could disown all three and move into a cave. As long as it had a place for the horses I would be fine. Isn't that weird. But then horses are not as demanding emotionally as one's men are. You can put a dog in a crate, a cat just is, a bird in a cage or horses out in the pasture and they are there when YOU want them. With people it is harder because the MOM or the DAD or theSIB has to be there at times that may not be sympatico with one's emotional state. I still love them all.
I still have dial up and could not load the other picture of my all three of my men. Will try again later.
